In-Home Design Consultation

Oftentimes, the best way for us to accurately assess your needs is to visit your home. A design team member of your choosing will review your current decor and room dimensions along with your lifestyle demands and goals.

$250 In-Home Design Service Fee (fee is credited for any store purchases of $5,000 or more at time of design service)

Benefits Include:

We go wherever you are. We'll visit your home, take measurements of your space, and discuss your vision. If your home lies outside our region, we will ask for travel expenses to be covered. We also deliver to all 50 states.

Receive a full design presentation including floor plans. You'll receive our designer's recommendations on color, fabrics, and furnishings. We pay special attention to budget and time constraints in our design process.

Select the right finishing touches. After the delivery of your furniture, our design team can help you choose lamps, wall art, and other room accessories for a completed look.

Create custom window treatments. We're happy to work with you to find the right window treatments that suit your taste, the space, and the new or existing furniture.

Collaborate with your architect and contractor. Our designers can work directly with your building professionals during the planning stages of a new build to help work out optimal room size, traffic flow and lighting. When it comes to choosing and coordinating the color schemes, paint finishes, cabinet styles and light fixtures that go into that room, that's where our design team is here to help.

Tap our expertise for furniture purchases. What's great about using one of our J&K designers is their vast knowledge on design and of our own large array of high quality furniture products. They are well equipped to match your needs to the right piece of furniture for you.

Licensing requirements for Interior Designers vary from state to state. However, a certified Interior Designer must pass an exam given by the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). To qualify to take this exam, a combination of six years of design education and full-time work experience in the field are required. Designers are then certified through the American Society of Interior Design (ASID). J&K Furniture is proud to have ASID certified Designers on staff.
