Gretchen has worked as an Interior Designer for the past 18 years. After gaining a degree in Interior Design at East Carolina University she worked as a designer at some of the top furniture manufacturers. Having that background makes her a great fit at J&K Home Furnishings where she really understands the process behind quality furniture and pairs that with her design education and experience to meet all of her clients expectations.
Her success comes from her ability to listen to her clients needs paying close attention to detail and incorporating their personal style and budget. “One of my favorite parts of design is creating custom window treatments. To me they are the jewelry of the room along with the proper accessories.” She looks forward to working with you on your next project weather its picking paint colors or renovating a whole home.

Julie was born and raised in the South and has lived in Hilton Head Island for over 22 years. She graduated from USC and started work in retail and merchandising before starting her interior design profession 17 years ago. She has now made her permanent move here in Myrtle Beach and excited to work with J&K and their great product lines.
“My success in design consultation has always been listening to the wants, needs and budgets of my clients and working together to create a beautiful, comfortable environment,” explains Julie. Nora has over 20 years experience as a design consultant. She moved to Lake Wylie, SC from Long Island, NY and worked as design consultant for one of the top furniture manufacturers for 13 years. She just made the move to Myrtle Beach and is so excited for the opportunity to be working as a designer for J&K!
Nora’s design approach is that “I look forward to providing solutions for my clients design needs by showing them the best way to see their vision and make their space as unique as they are.”
